Privacy notice
Last updated: 9 October 2026
QuoteStick is an early-access project. Right now it is only a waitlist: there's no product and nothing to buy. This notice explains, in plain English, what happens to the details you give us when you join.
Who is responsible for your details
QuoteStick is made by Qudra Labs, the trading name Maeen Alganimi works under. The person responsible for your details (the "controller") is Maeen Alganimi, trading as Qudra Labs (founder).
Contact for anything privacy-related: qudralabs.team@gmail.com
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store exactly what you type or choose in the form:
- your name and email address
- your trade and the country you work in (UK, Australia or other)
- roughly how many quotes you send a month, and how you chase them today
- your answer to the founding-price question (yes / maybe / no)
- whether you ticked "happy to do a 15-minute call"
We also store, automatically:
- the date and time you signed up, and a random ID for your entry
- which version of the consent line you signed up under, as our record of what you agreed to
- the name of the link that brought you here, but only if the link had one (for example a tag like "facebook-group"), so we know which places are worth our time
We don't collect payment or card details, and we don't store your IP address with your signup.
Why we use it
- to email you about QuoteStick early access (for example when it's ready to try)
- to arrange a short call, but only if you ticked the call box
- to understand, in total, who signed up (for example how many people in the UK or Australia said they'd pay the founding price), so we can decide whether to build the product
We will only message you on WhatsApp if you ask us to. We won't use your details for anything else.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we rely on your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist under the line "By joining, you agree we can email you…". You can withdraw it at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or emailing qudralabs.team@gmail.com. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Where it's stored
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Waitlist entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Both are run by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor: under its data processing terms it handles the data only to provide the service and on our instructions, not for its own purposes. Only Maeen Alganimi, and anyone helping him run this project, can access the list.
The database is created in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction, which means it runs and stores your details only in data centres within the European Union. When you submit the form, Cloudflare's network may pass your request through a data centre nearer to you on its way there. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare also handles standard technical data, such as your IP address. Our own code doesn't store it. Maeen is based in Libya and manages the list from there.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while the waitlist is open, and delete them 12 months after the waitlist closes. We delete them sooner if you ask. If you become a customer later, we'll tell you what we keep for that.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own use. The only other company that handles them is Cloudflare, as described above, to host the site and store the list. If we start using another service, we'll name it here first.
Cookies, tracking and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels and no analytics. Cloudflare's optional Web Analytics is switched off. The only exception: if Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor isn't a bot, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Our emails to you don't contain tracking pixels either. If any of that changes, we'll update this notice first.
Your rights
If you're in the UK, UK GDPR gives you the right to:
- get a copy of the details we hold about you
- have them corrected or deleted
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use them
- receive them in a portable format
- withdraw your consent
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
If you're in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles give people the right to access and correct their personal information and to complain about how it's handled. We'll honour access, correction and deletion requests from anyone, whether or not the Act formally applies to a project of this size. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
To use any of these rights, email qudralabs.team@gmail.com. We'll reply within one month. We'd appreciate the chance to sort out any concern before you go to a regulator, but you don't have to.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to people already on the list, we'll email them.
